Saturday evening was the Australian Romance Readers Association book signing and I was fortunate enough to be there, signing my books.

I managed to fit all of my books and promotional items on the table: I had print copies of What Goes on Tour and All that Sparkles to sign, as well as postcards of all The Texan Quartet covers, an excerpt booklet which had the first few pages of each book, and some bookmarks and of course chocolates!
My publisher, Momentum, were giving attendees the chance to download an ebook version of What Goes on Tour for free so they could try the series.
I must say book signings are a little bit nerve-wracking. I was in a room full of authors who had been writing for decades, had written a huge numbers of books and had a huge number of fans. I'm always a little worried I'll spend the couple of hours watching everyone walk past!
I didn't need to worry though. One of the first people through the door was Emily-Jane, the blogger from Emily-Jane's Book Corner and she stopped for a chat and to buy my books. Thank you Emily-Jane!
In between readers, I chatted to Alissa Callen who was sharing the table with me. She's lovely and we had a chat and a laugh while we were waiting for the next reader to stop. I have to say that ARRA does an excellent job organising the signing. They print a booklet with each author in it so that it includes all authors and so that attendees who can't afford to buy every single book can still get everyone's autograph. It's a great idea.
I'm looking forward to the next event in Adelaide next year.
