Christmas Traditions Part 2

Last week I wrote about decorating the Christmas Tree and so today I want to write about our other Christmas tradition. We watch Love Actually.

Now you could debate which is the best Christmas movie of all time, but my husband and I like Love Actually. You've got love, romance, family and comedy all in one movie and it makes me feel good.

I absolutely adore the beginning of the film which shows the arrivals gate at Heathrow airport and all of the joy and love of people being reunited. It always makes me teary.

I enjoy the way each short story is intertwined with the others and the way not only romantic love is explored but also friendship and family.

I will admit there are a couple of the story lines which I have rewritten in my head. I'm a romance author, and as such I like everyone to have their guaranteed happily ever after. If you've seen the movie, you can probably guess the ones I've rewritten! 🙂 But when the credits roll, I'm always left feeling emotional and happy. That's what I call a satisfying story.

So do you have a movie you watch every Christmas? Or do you have an absolutely favourite Christmas movie that you want to recommend? Leave me a comment below and let me know!
