Australian Romance Readers Convention

The Australian Romance Readers Convention is on in about 6 weeks and I’m going for the first time. The convention is about romance and aimed at readers of romance, so there are all sorts of interesting panels talking about things like favourite romance tropes, favourite book boyfriends and feminism versus romance fiction.

In addition there were be a whole lot of authors there, including a couple of my favourites from the US – Courtney Milan and Kristen Callihan. They will be giving keynote speeches as well as taking part in the panels.

On Saturday night ARRA have the awards dinner where they hand out awards for the best romance books of 2016.

I’m really looking forward to talking to other romance readers about their favourite romances and discussing my favourites as well.

I’m taking part in the mass book signing that is happening on Saturday afternoon (25 February 2017 4-6 pm) which should be fun. I don’t actually expect many people to drop by my table, with so many other amazing authors to choose from, but it’s nice to sit and chat to people walking by.

So if you’re going to be in Melbourne on the weekend of the 25-26 February, maybe you should check out the Australian Romance Readers Convention too. And if you do, make sure you come up and say hi.
