The Australian Romance Readers Convention was hold over the weekend and it was a fantastic event. Guest speakers included Courtney Milan, Kylie Scott and Kristen Callihan and there were many other fantastic authors in attendance. The panels ranged from talking about specific sub-genres, to discussing feminism vs romance and favourite heroes.

I really enjoyed the panels discussing feminism and social issues as well as those about perfect villains and rural romance. There were some interesting points raised and some great questions from the audience.
ARRC also provided me with a new first – the first time I’ve seen any of my books in a bookshop. Dymocks had the book stall at the conference and they stocked all of the Flanagan Sisters series which I was completely thrilled with. They even asked me to sign all of the copies for them.
The major book signing was at Bobby McGees which is a fantastic venue. Unfortunately the lighting wasn’t the greatest so the photos I took are a little blurry. The best one I have was taken by the lovely Allison Butler who sat next to me at the signing.

All in all it was a great weekend which allowed me to catch up with friends, meet some wonderful new people and talk romance. A huge thank you to the organisers for putting on a wonderful event.
