Today is release day for Take a Chance, a short story I wrote with a character that made an appearance in Place to Belong. Max was Hayden’s best friend who met him at the Cider House after Carly’s wedding. Those of you who have read the book will know how that turned out!
Anyway Max caught my attention and I needed to write his story. I’m calling it #5 of The Flanagan Sisters series, but really Take a Chance is a novelette, only about 14K long.
