Why use the Facebook pixel?

However Claire would still like to be able to reach her readers who might want to hear about special offers and new releases. The Facebook pixel allows her to target Facebook ads to visitors of her website, so they can be informed about offers in their newsfeed.

Use and disclosure of information
If you sign up for the reader group, new release list or blog summary, you will receive regular email newsletters from Claire Boston. The blog summary email is sent out on a weekly basis and includes any blogs posted since the last email. The reader group email is sent out once a month, with the occasional mid month email if there’s some exciting news like a new cover, or a new book out. The new release newsletter is sent when a new release is put up for pre-order and on release day. The information gathered when signing up for these newsletters is only used to send the newsletters. Claire Boston will not disclose this information to outside parties.

We also use automatically collected data to improve our services and website through analysis of information, and to target advertising on other platforms.
